Ted Chan
Executive Chairman
An experienced innovator and technologist, Ted has worked for two leading professional services firms, holding consulting roles and serving as Head of Information Technology. Ted is now CEO of CareDash, a fast growing health care review website. In addition, Ted was an early-stage member of Moca, an open-source tele-health and medical records system, and the founder of MassWrestling.com and several other successful enterprises. Ted has a BA in Psychology and History with High Honors from Swarthmore College, as well as a certificate in Emergency Management and Organizational Continuity from Boston University. Ted has a MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he was part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program.
Victoria Slingerland
Co-Founder, President
Victoria has experience in financial services, entrepreneurship, and international development, all of which she brings to our company. She is also the President and Co-Founder of Practice Quiz, one of the web’s most popular free educational test prep sites. Victoria worked for nine years in investment management for two leading global asset managers and has consulted on projects relating to micro-enterprise development, urban livelihoods, microfinance, and financial inclusion in developing countries and the US. She attended the Master’s program at the The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, where she focused on Development Economics and Human Security, and is a graduate of Tufts University with a BA in International Relations and Spanish.
Samantha Tanzer
Director of Product Development
Samantha oversees the product development process from conception to release, and specializes in wearing many different hats. A true generalist, Samantha holds a BA in Economics from Swarthmore College, and brings a broad range of experience to the team. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Industrial Ecology at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Her previous employers include New Media Strategies and NASDAQ MarketWatch.
Alison Ryland
Product Development Associate
Alison graduated from Swarthmore College with a BA in Linguistics and has interned at almost every library she ever lived near, including the Research Library of the Maine Historical Society, the Swarthmore College Library, and the Archives of the Smithsonian Institution’s Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage. She oversees the day-to-day management of Dynamic Path.
